Thank you for visiting Good4kids.com! This site is sponsored by the Imagination
Station, a
creative and educational toy shoppe.
We have two store
locations-one is located in Fenton, Michigan, just south of Flint.
We're located on North Leroy St (Fenton Rd) next to Farmer Jack.
Our second
store is located on Miller Rd., Flint, in the
Valley Plaza. That's
the one right in front of Pirate's Park. You may be familiar with
some of the other tenants in that strip mall- EKOS Computer, and
Popcorn Wagon. Anyway, it's
about 1 mile west of I-75.
If you're ever in the neighborhood, look us up! We'd love to have you visit.
We believe in total development of the child (body, mind and
spirit.) Children have so much potential - give them a chance to prove it!
We welcome your comments and suggestions to make this site a
better place. Everything here is designated with the happiness of kids in mind.
History Our
store began in November 1993, the day after Thanksgiving, in a
little shop in Clio. Back then we were called "The
Imagination Station Creative Toy and Hobby", since we carried
a lot of hobby trains and models- but our main purpose was the
same- to put great learning toys in the hands of little girls and
boys. The
next year, we decided to expand. We opened our second store in the
Grand Mall in Grand Blanc. The Clio store fell on hard times, and
we closed it in 1995, putting all our effort into expanding Grand
Blanc. In
1996, Courtland Center offered us a great deal, and we took it.
Located by Crowley's, and B. Dalton Booksellers, it was a great
location for us. As the years wore on, the bookstore moved,
Crowley's closed, and two other stores were forced out, so we
closed that store, and moved to Miller Rd. in 2000.
Meanwhile,
In 1997, we were approached by Silver Lake Village in Fenton to
enter their new development. We moved our Grand Blanc store to
Fenton. We were there for 8 years, until our 3rd landlord raised the
rent substantially.
Our Fenton store has now found a
home on North Leroy St.
Our business has changed a bit
over the 12 years we've been in business, but the focus has always
been the same- to provide great toys with educational value to
children, and to support the parents as they raise those children. To
our customers - thank you! Yes, this is a job, but you have made
it very rewarding, and you have been faithful throughout the
years! |
